What’s Misplaced


Oh how sudden we lose things,

misplace them between disappointments

and the unfulfilled days life brings.

And the sun shines bright, but my hand

shields realities that burns

like summer powdery white sand

on bared feet unprotected,

like hope or my dreams

misplaced or lost as life turns-
